Roger Hsieh is an associate at O’Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles. Roger represents healthcare, technology, entertainment, and investment industry clients in litigation and white collar investigations. Roger has experience with all stages of litigation, including discovery, dispositive motions, settlement, trial, and appeal. He also counsels clients on the Affordable Care Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), various state privacy laws, anti-kickback laws, corporate practice of medicine laws, and data privacy and security.
Roger has an active pro bono practice and represented a victim of elder abuse, assisted immigrants with citizenship applications, and served as a Special Deputy Prosecutor for the Redondo Beach City Attorney’s Office. Roger also serves as Co-Chair of O’Melveny’s Asian American Employee Network and previously served as Co-Chair of UCLA Law’s Asian Pacific Islander Law Students’ Association. Prior to joining O’Melveny, Roger was a judicial law clerk to United States District Court Judge John Z. Lee for the Northern District of Illinois and implemented electronic medical records as a Project Manager for a leading healthcare software company.
