NAPABA Annual Convention in New Orleans

Student Travel Scholarships (apply by October 2)
APABA, APAWLA, JABA, KABA, SABA, and SCCLA (pending) are pleased to offer a limited number of travel scholarships to law student members to attend the 2015 NAPABA Convention.

Applicants must be current law students and members of one or more of the Sponsoring Bar Associations as of the application deadline, which is Friday, October 2, 2015, at 8 pm Pacific Time. Applicants must also request funding from their law schools. Please see the Scholarship Application for additional details and requirements.

Two Public Interest Scholarships Offered by the Jung Foundation (apply by October 9)
The Charles & Melita Jung Foundation (Jung Foundation) is sponsoring two public interest attorney scholarships to the 2015 NAPABA Convention. The scholarships are intended to encourage and make it easier for public interest attorneys to participate in NAPABA.

The award consists of the following: (1) Flight: the Jung Foundation will purchase for each recipients a round trip ticket from California to New Orleans on Southwest Airlines; (2) Conference Registration: conference registration fee reimbursement at the NAPABA member public interest member rate (register by October 26, 2015); and for one of the two recipients (3) Hotel Stay: reimbursement for a 3-night stay at the Loews New Orleans Hotel.

All California-based public interest attorneys are invited to apply by completing a short online application. The deadline is October 9, 2015, but applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning August 21, 2015. For additional information, please contact Charles Jung at aaba@njfirm.com.
