  • **This event is FREE to participants who agree to volunteer at two APABA monthly legal clinics by December 2017.

    Monthly clinics are held on the second Tuesdays of each month at the Bruggemeyer Public Library in Monterey Park. More information about your volunteer commitment will be provided at the training.

Registration is closed

This training will provide basic information about family law litigation. It is intended for attorneys and law students interested in providing pro bono legal services to indigent members of the community. Emphasis will be placed on the court procedures involved in divorce, parentage, and domestic violence restraining order cases. The goal of this training is that participants will learn to counsel individuals on the process of taking their case from filing to judgment.
