This training will provide basic information about family law litigation. It is intended for attorneys and law students interested in providing pro bono legal services to indigent members of the community. Emphasis will be placed on the court procedures involved in divorce, parentage, and domestic violence restraining order cases. The goal of this training is that participants will learn to counsel individuals on the process of taking their case from filing to judgment.
