APABA Monthly Clinic for Elders
When
Wednesday, February 13, 2013
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Location
Angelus Plaza, 255 S. Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Starting February 13, 2013, APABA will be holding a regular monthly clinic at Angeles Plaza, a housing facility for low income elders in Los Angeles. The clinic will be on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Volunteers will be matched with an elder and help with intake and provide information in response to myriad legal issues in the areas of family law, estate planning, criminal law, civil matters, government benefits, and immigration. Attorneys with specialties in these areas as well as law students are needed to participate in the clinic and help administer and set up the clinic. A clinic planning meeting will be set up in January. If you are interested in joining our committee or volunteering, please e-mail Deborah Yao at
