"Substance Abuse in the Legal Profession" MCLE Presentation

Please join the Japanese American Bar Association, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | LA, and The Other Bar for an MCLE presentation on the prevention, detection and treatment of substance abuse in the legal profession. C. Edward Dilkes, Attorney and Past President of The Other Bar, will explain the chemistry of addiction and alcoholism and their behavioral and health impacts. The presentation includes a case study of an addict attorney, a self-diagnosis exercise, and a review of systemic and individual solutions.
One MCLE credit in substance abuse will be provided. (As a reminder, attorneys with last names starting with N through Z need to complete their MCLE requirements by 1/31/14.)
Dinner - 5:45 pm
Program - 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
$25 for members of APABA, JABA and other co-sponsors
$40 everyone else
